Sunday, July 10, 2022 - Deep garnet red with slight brick rim. Medium+ intensive nose of high toned, lightly poached red fruit, cherry pits and freshly cut grass. In the mouth this is medium to light bodied with good concentration and light, but still a bit rustic tannins. Nice length. I’m puzzled about some of the recent notes. This is ready to drink, fresh, very classic, with nice complexity; in fact, I’d say a very good choice for a summer dinner.
89-90 -and to me 89 is not an insult, but really means very good.
