Sunday, June 3, 2007 - Paul Jaouen Does Minneapolis (Mugnier, Leroy, Papet, La Las, Pavillon, Celestins, Cheval, Latour, Palmer): The color is a deep rust red. The nose is very similar to the 1989 with dark fruit, mineral, smoke, and pepper. The taste is of ripe dark fruit with some earth/leather. Maybe a touch lighter than the 1989 but still palate coating. Great length and a long satisfying finish. Tasted blind I doubt I would been able to tell these two apart. Great showing.
