Thursday, February 23, 2017 - Amazingly good the first hour which my score reflects, but unfortunately went south and dried out. Initially, great perfume of dried flowers, nuts, earth, leather which could have been an old Burgundy. And on the palate, medium weight, very complex and interesting with ripe acidity and an earthiness which brought me back to Brunello. Remarkable old Brunello, my first Pertimali.
