Wednesday, July 12, 2017 - Star bright straw gold. Aggressive nose of white flowers and white grapefruit rind. Underripe green apple, white tea, white pepper paste on the palate with bracing acidity that's balanced by a wee bit of citrusy sweetness (not a sweet wine by any stretch). At 12.5% abv this could be your Thanksgiving white. It's asking for a rich poultry-led meal, but would work as a summer "sipper" just as well.
