Monday, May 31, 2010 - PnP (three nights). Remarkably similar to notes from 2006. Violet red, with maybe a hint of bricking if you look hard enough for it. Nose is still fruit and earth/forest floor-driven but this now has spice (white pepper) that wasn't noted. Palate and medium fruit, penetrating flavors with the spice carrying through with a line of mineral/acidity that is nicely balanced. Low finesse with some complexity. Did not fade one bit over the 3 evenings.
