Friday, October 26, 2018 - Well, it's big, and it's rather one-dimensional and unsophisticated.
As I guess you'd expect, it's fruit-forward, mild tannins, a little acidity. I suppose it's really quite nice if you like the fruit-bomb style. But I really don't see it as an "outstanding" wine. It pulls and pours just fine, doesn't evolve much over the next couple of hours.
I got it in a bin-end sale at US$45, which I feel is sort of pricey, but just about OK. At $66 (the community average value) I'd be a bit miffed.
