Tuesday, August 16, 2016 - Didn't at first know what to think of this wine. I liked it, but wasn't sure why. It got better as it opened up a bit, but still couldn't put my finger on it. In the end I still don't know exactly, but I liked it a lot. Maybe just because it was so different than so many other wines that seem to get drunk that have so little character. This wine has character, and it seems one that will only get better with age. I like the dryness of it and its tight flavors that need to be coaxed out. They are reminiscent of the place where it is made...hot and dry....not sure why I would have expected anything else, but it is spot on.
