Sunday, October 15, 2023 - 88 day one, upped to 90 day two. Needed a couple of hours to open up. Still plenty of darker fruit showing but also some meatier and mocha notes coming through. If a nose can be velvety, this is. Plenty of structure and the tannins still have some opportunity to soften to make the palate more harmonious. Hopefully enough fruit to last well.

Day 2: more together on the whole, oak and pencil shaving notes a touch more prominent.
