Friday, June 3, 2022 - Maybe, slightly lower acidity than typical Petite Sirah. Still, nice balance, calm elegance and a lot of complexity.

Deep garnet. Medium plus body. Medium plus acidity. Notes of licorice, cedar, juniper. and graphite. Fruits of black plum, black currant and blueberries are ripe, but dry. Mid-palate of dried herbs and warm spices. Some soy sauce. Finishes with black tea and dark chocolate.

Mysterious and captivating.
