Friday, January 21, 2022 - Decanted. Ruby-purple color, deep overall and clearing at the edges, bright tones. Fragrant nose - red currant & fresh blackberry, paprika & allspice, violets, hints of pipe tobacco and pink peppercorn. Bright and vivid on the palate, black & red fruit with depth of savory spices, leather, cedar and dark florals. Medium weight through the middle and good intensity to the flavors, with elegant density, succulent acidity, and pliable fleshy-firm tannins. Very nice zesty length on the finish. Late primary with excellent integration. Showing very well.
