Monday, January 31, 2022 - Recent notes hit all the highs for this wine. Drinking well. If you’ve never had Smith Madrone, give it a little decant and it will reward multiple times over. Simply beautiful wines that are more elegant than many Napa cabs. Beautiful balance and structure. Age well for years and years. Dark fruits and spice, leather and slight bit of pepper.

The 2013s should hold up for at least 5 years up to a decade or longer.
