Saturday, February 26, 2022 - Like a rib of beef or great balsamic vinegar, this just keeps getting better with age. Dark sweet mountain fruit, tannins that are present but sofening and ripe and unlike so many Napa cabs these days, this has a real sense of time and place. A little rustic even but all the better for it. I don't know much about winemaking but this strikes me as a product of good ripe fruit and not too much intervention and letting nature do it's thing. Great value as well.

Along with Corison, my go-to choice for Napa cab.
