Friday, July 26, 2019 - Very good. Lots of things to like in this wine. So many layers of flavor; so much depth. It was decanted for three hours. There was quite a bit of residue in the bottle. Decanting isolated most of that. It is a really dark color with a nose of plums and something that was a bit more tangy, couldn't really place that aroma, but it was nice. It also had a good sense of earthiness. The flavors were very much the same except they were intensified by the depth. The tannins are just enough to finish it off beautifully. We enjoyed it very much.
