Monday, January 17, 2022 - Decanted at maybe 4pm and back into the bottle soon after, as the aromas seemed ready - decanted again right before serving at 7:30. Lovely on the nose with fresh and pure scents of apricots, geranium, and mineral, but on the palate the wine seems like its best days have passed, in that the acidity is not as punchy as it was several years ago and the wine seems less energetic. I saved half the bottle, skipped day two, and on day 3 it was much better, more complete and harmonious and with better acidity and balance. This needs a lot of air - more than I gave it, to show best on the day its being served.
