Sunday, March 15, 2020 - This was my last bottle of the Prodigal. i was a bit worried when the cork disintegrated upon opening but I was rewarded for my efforts. The wine had an almost cloying nose of stewed cherries and violets. Upon tasting, there was a good balance of acidity against the seamless integration of the 16% alcohol and fruit to produce an enjoyable, jammy wine.
