Abierta y servida pero necesitando más de cuatro horas en un decantador para empezar a brillar. Servido a 13C. De color carmesí oscuro, pero con una apariencia madura en nariz con aromas de lápiz, rosas podridas, menta vulgar, tierra y setas. Muy Pauilliac en lugar de ser una verdadera Saint Julien.
En boca se mostró seca y corta. Solamente buena en su mejor momento.
Para esta añada útil una botella St Julien honesta, muy seca y atractiva. En mi opinión, esto requiere de una guarda extra.
Traté de maridarla con una pierna de ternasco aragonés al horno para el almuerzo. Consumida durante la tarde-noche. Soy un hombre paciente.
