Saturday, January 9, 2021 - dark pour. left open to air in the bottle for about two hours before tasting. heavy tar profile on the nose with expected dark cherry fruits. florals are there but shy. full bodied, medium acidity. loads more of the dark cherry and a savory earth profile. rounded fine tannins still abundant. still somewhat severe at this stage for my tastes. would wait five years to open up and revisit.
