Tuesday, November 21, 2017 - Colour: dark Burgundy
Nose: cassis, mulberry, raspberry. Candied red fruit. Gooseberry, green capsicum, nightshade leaf. Green olives. Cigar box, sweet spice. Cedar wood.
Palate: cassis, mulberry, raspberry. Gooseberry, nightshade leaf. Olives -- green and black? Cigar box, sweet spice. Medium to fresh berry like acidity, tannins drying and fine grained. Medium bodied, 13,5% alcohol. Very drinkable now, but will be beautiful and complex in 5-10 years.

    11/23/2017 3:16:00 PM - Good choice :-). If I had a cellar, I'd be tempted to buy a case and drink one bottle a year to see how it changed over the next twelve years. Despite not being an expensive wine, I think it'd be interesting to see.
