Thursday, September 21, 2017 - Screwcap. Torn front label. Badly torn back label. Nose of blackberry jam, with hints of leather and sour cream. Palate seems like it's past its prime. There's a thickness to the mouthfeel, but no structure; fruit and tannins have faded, while the acidity seems a little sharp. Flavours of blackberry, prune, and cranberry, with background notes of charred oak and dried mushroom.
