Saturday, September 12, 2020 - Bright cherry in the glass, this wine “smells like an Oregon Pinot Noir,” one of our tasters opined. “Smells like a BBQ,” I also heard…but it could have been the ribs cooking. Raspberry on the palate and a touch of barnyard. “The ribs bring out a little smokiness on the finish.” Everyone agreed this wine was representative of an Oregon Pinot Noir from start to finish. Saw the note to decant this wine. Also, winemaker suggests cellaring longer.
