Wednesday, January 18, 2012 - Dönnhoff Tasting with Helmut Dönnhoff (Taberna Wine Bar, Singapore): Dark yellow. Nose is ripe and very alluring. Palate as expected from the vintage was ripe and intense. Some might feel that it is clunky but I like the character here. Good freshness coupled with great concentration. A little matured flavors here and could easily be mistaken for a Beerenauslese.
