Wednesday, December 25, 2019 - Smoky, spicy open nose with lots of sweet vanilla, caramel and nuts notes. The fruit has already developed a bit into very ripe stone fruit, orange marmelade and some tropical touches mixed in. Creamy mouth feel and quite buttery on the palate with a prominent sense of salinity, minerality and wet stones. This one is truly a beauty and a great wine that can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years with pleasure. Very much in harmony and a wine of nice fruit ripeness and concentration. Very good Villages!
