Saturday, December 25, 2021 - Popped and poured on a whim. This clearly could have used some time in a decanter first. Black currant, mocha, licorice and tobacco come through. This is big, full bodied, layered and long. Still sporting some tannin at times this felt like eating a meal. It’s an impressive wine but needs more time or a long decant.
