Sunday, April 5, 2020 - The von Schubert team are on song once again (couldn't resist that). A fully matured wine. Colour of light toffee, but perfectly clear; wonderful semi-botrytis lift on the nose, with those typical flavours of the matured Riesling (acidic candied fruit etc); taste = it has retained that wonderful balance between fruit and acidity that the Ruwer is noted for.

This is a wine of exceptional quality. I have two more bottles, but my feelings are that I should drink them sooner rather than later
