Sunday, May 30, 2021 - Decanted off a tiny bit of sediment for 4 hours. At a relative's house with less than ideal glassware.

Nose is aromatic with spicy red fruit, smoke, and cigar box. Palate is smooth and cool on entry, but develops some zing from acid and tannins. Finish is drying and chewy--dried red fruits, clove, black pepper, and warm spices.

Drink now, in a rocking place. Very good balance of age and fruit. Probably could age for a bit longer but no need to wait.
