Saturday, December 23, 2023 - Really one of my all-time favorite rieslings, or wines, for that matter. That layered nose of petrol and apricot and honey. I love the petrol on this one. Layers of orchard fruit-apricot-peach spiked... and that acidity! The '01 acidity is here for days. Yet, the balance is impeccable. Finishes with a chiseled sweetness that just coats the palate with energy. Hard to resist.
