Saturday, January 25, 2020 - wow, what a showing for this 19 year old wine. Nice rubbery nose with iodine, some signatures of age. The wine has bing cherry, leather, and mulled red fruits. Soft, integrated, and a pleasure to drink. Food not necessary for this complex and stimulating wine. Just as good on day #2. A reminder that classically made Napa Cabernet can age gracefully and develop tertiary character.
