Friday, September 4, 2015 - Lovely aged Champagne that really blossomed in the glass. It was a little nutty at first but with air you got brioche and truffle and earth notes. It was full and creamy in the mouth. The back-end is just drying out a touch and there's a big squeeze of lemon and some fruit rind bitterness. A gentle prickle from the remaining bubbles remind you that this is Champagne.
