Wednesday, January 1, 2020 - {screwcap, 14.5%} Standard McLaren Vale cabernet, which is to say rather thick and gloopy, low in acid, with medium powdery tannins of a fairly simple kind. Rather raisin and sultana with blackberries in flavor. Medium/full weight, but sits heavily on the palate, lacking freshness. Can’t see it developing terribly well.
