Monday, January 5, 2009 - Full bodied and long on the palate. This is drinking like a fresh wine, but the tannins are very smooth in this rich and balanced wine. The wine exhibits a nice bitterness of black tea with a smaller role played by notes of berries, dark fruits, leather, iodine, and blood. Drink now or hold. -JBL
