Friday, October 14, 2022 - Gorgeous bright multi-hued orange colour - dive in! The wine was more like a Sauternes than I'd expected from a Riesling, with saffron, lime, stem ginger, Stollen and marmalade, and just a touch of the exotic. Quite creamy and opulent, and a lingering biscuity finish. This was too sweet to drink on its own but wouldn't have been sweet enough as a dessert wine... hmmm.
