Somewhat oxidative style, true, but the minerals, fruit, and acidity soon joined the party and the unctuousness noted in first bottle 5 years ago embraced the midpalate. Sound bottles of this wine would surely last nother decade, just as Parker forecast on original tasting. Not among the profound Hermitages blancs, but a value in every vintage, and who doesn't trust Guigal?
