Sunday, November 29, 2009 - Clear, light gold in the glass. Aromas of peach, white flowers, apricot and almond, with a strong and persistent petrol note. On the palate, surprisingly light and beautifully integrated, with good acidity balancing only mild sweetness. An excellent accompaniment to simple seared scallops and the earthy, nutty flavors of roasted Jerusalem artichokes (the latter very fresh thanks to Lynn's garden). Once again, the beauty of aged riesling!
