Saturday, November 15, 2014 - Opened with a bit of trouble because of some wine seepage between cork and bottle. Used a screen as transferred into decanter. Decanted for about two and half hours. Was a little concerned that the wine might have been tired and well over the hill, after reading some tasting notes. I am happy to report it delivered on every level. Still plenty of fruit with smooth tannins - really a lovely 35 year old wine!
