There was a bit of sediment in the neck and on the cork when I opened it, so I recommend standing it upright a few days before opening. Held up pretty well over the few (three) days after it was opened. Wish I had some more detailed notes, though! I will definitely have to go pick up some more next time I'm up in Sonoma
