Wednesday, January 26, 2022 - Blood plum colour, age showing in the earthy hues.
Fragrant, nutty fruitcake and maraschino cherry sweetness.
Medium weight, velvety, evenly balanced. Plums, black cherry, with earthy cedary hints, but fruit dominates. Tannins are still definitely there, finely mouth coating. Still has great intensity, and good structure, impressive. The level was not ideal, mid shoulder, so this is a lovely surprise.
