Sunday, December 20, 2020 - First impressions from Coravin pour: thyme, oregano, green pepper corn, eucalyptus, and - borrowing from another comment- “library dust” (yes!). All these become less pronounced with aeration and the fruit starts to show. Blackberries, cassis, prune, quince paste, dried figs. A tinge of oiliness on the finish. Pronounced tannins but not over the top. Long finish. This is really nice, and crazy good QPR!
