Sunday, February 12, 2023 - Opened 1 hour before pouring. Outstanding example of what a great Napa cab can be. Subtle hints of dark berry fruit and dusty leather on the nose that doesn’t give away the explosion of flavor to come. Soft, gentle, well rounded tannins beautifully balance abundant black cherry and a pleasant bit of vanilla, old leather, red currant, and just the slightest hint of clove. Lingering, seductive finish. Drink up - I can’t imagine how this gets much better than how it’s drinking right now!
