Friday, September 23, 2022 - Decanted for 3 hours. Deep, dark purple hue with magenta rim. Stewed plums on the nose with some woody notes. Initial sips were still a bit tight. But as it loosened up in the glass the wine was well balanced and well made with a decent fruit profile but not very memorable. Medium acid, medium integrated tannin with a medium finish. This wine may gain some complexity with more age. I will sit on my next bottle for another three years. Drink or hold.
