Drank w coq au vin along w an '04 Magnien Eche which was a very interesting comparison. This wine was much darker and extracted. Brooding dark fruits, some leather, and coca cola-- this had a very un-burg like feel and flavor profile. There was nothing wrong with this, it just wasn't what I was expecting. The finish goes on for a long time. It was hedonistic in the Parker sense of the word. It was way too big and did not speak of the cote de nuits.
