Saturday, August 21, 2021 - Decanted for about three hours. Just after decanting plum in the nose. In the taste also cherry-notes. Most prominent were the rather heavy, massive tannins. They still are resolving, which gave a certain sweetness in the taste in this phase. Probably they will add secondary/tertiary flavours to the taste. I am curious whether they will add to the quality as well before the fruit will disappear. Because they are not well intergrated yet: for now 87-88.
