Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - APPEARANCE: Almost tawny red colour.
NOSE: Wild strawberries, aged strawberry jam, rose liqueur, cherry liqueur. (86p)
TASTE: Like slightly concentrated strawberry and wild cherry limonade infused with some lemon rind and with a few drops of lime juice added. Mature and sweet but not without freshness and fruitiness. (86p)
OVERALL: A rather mature Brachetto which still drinks nicely but was probably more interesting 1-2 years ago. Now primarily an after dinner wine. TOTAL SCORE 86 points.
