Friday, March 26, 2021 - Purchased for $23 back in 2008. Garnet/brown in color with bricking on the rim. No real primary fruit, but delicious secondary notes of raisin, herbs, earth, and leather. I can still pick up some of that sangiovese fruit with ever so slight notes of red cherry, cranberry and sottobosco. I'm honestly floored that this has lasted this long and still tastes great. Still very nice acidity and firm tannins. This has aged better than I have since 2008 and it has been an absolute pleasure to drink. Grade: A
