Sunday, February 22, 2009 - Unlike other Sancerres, those of P. & F. Cotat need some age. This one was nearly perfect.
The familiar sharp edges of new-mown grass, cat pee, and fruit salad are etherealised here,
wrapped in glycerine on a base of minerals. Hard to do better with this grape. Less wierd than
Vatan and half the price of Dagueneau.
