Sunday, March 24, 2024 - Three hour decant. Ruby, fading at the edges. Nose of red fruit, cigar box and earth. Palate of dried red cherries, tobacco and dusty earth. Medium bodied lacking density mid-palate that filled in with subsequent glasses. Grippy tannins and a long finish. Paired reasonably well with meat sauce spaghetti. Will hold remaining bottle a few years.
