Friday, May 11, 2018 - The nose was dark yet wonderfully fresh as well, with mineral-encased black cherry, dusty dried florals and hints of undergrowth. On the palate, I found silky textures with a coating of fine tannin, which quickly encased the senses, as notes of tart cherry, spice and zesty acids fought to the foreground. It finished structured, as tannin tugged at the senses, leaving notes of dried cherry and inner floral tones.
