Friday, September 1, 2023 - Popped & poured. Been a minute since I've had this one, and it did not disappoint! Lots of savory aromas and flavors, from seaweed to espresso coffee, roasted beef, black olive, charred earth, and hints of cedar. Sweet-yet-tart huckleberry fruit, some blueberry and vanilla. Nice acidity still, and a bit of dry tannin on the finish. Outstanding wine, unfortunately my last bottle. Sure wish I'd bought more! Still has lots of life ahead, so no rush to drink this one. Enjoy now - 2029+.
