90 Points

Tuesday, January 11, 2011 - Tasted at Wine and View Bar at the Helsinki Airport, the bottle had been opened a couple of days earlier, but had been stored under gas. A beautiful maroon, with a brown edge to it. The nose had wonderful aged Bordeaux aromas, perfumy violets, a slight hint of smokiness, elegant fruit. The palate was very elegant as well, with good tannins, fading but still vibrant fruit, very subtle. A very tasty wine, very good at this point, probably has been better, and certainly won’t get any better than this. Very enjoyable!
