Wednesday, October 4, 2023 - Hmmm. I really wanted to like this more than I did. The nose promised complexity that didn’t materialize on the palate. Nice notes of tar, rose, leather, dark fruit in the nose but missing something upon drinking. Still quite a substantial wine with nice tannin and acid structure will revisit again down the road.
