Tuesday, April 10, 2012 - I opened this bottle by accident thinking that it was the '03 vintage, but it turned out to a rather pleasant surprise. This wine tastes super smooth at this point in time with a very nice spicy, menthol-inflected, earthy profile especially towards the finish. The fruit component tastes much more integrated with the oak since I last had this about two years ago but still retains enough youthfulness in it to last well into the decade.
